I don't know what Donald Trump is paying Jeffrey Lord and even if he was paying Lord, he actually wouldn't be paying him and instead of raise the money from other people and use that to pay Lord or just ask one of bis friends to pay Lord, but whatever President Trump might be paying Mr. Lord is simply not enough. Lord who has go more than way out of his way to defend Trump. Going out of his way to defend Trump is a huge understatement. It would be like saying America had a civil war because the South didn't want a bearded President. Not just false but doesn't make any sense.

Jeff Lord has risked his personal and perhaps professional reputation to defend a man who has made a career of screwing people for his own benefit. Who apparently can't be left alone with women who don't him well because of what he might do to them. A man in Donald Trump who pre-2010 was a Democrat and a Liberal Democrat at that. A man who is a proud New Yorker and didn't consider himself very religious at all until he became the leader of the Birther Nationalist Tea Party movement in 2011, is now the darling of the Tea Party Nationalists in America.

Tea Party Nationalists can't believe anything that is negative that is reported about their cult leader (Donald Trump) even if its reported by the conservative Wall Street Journal or even propaganda agency of the Trump Administration. (Better known as Fox News) Who can't believe Barack Obama is not only an American citizen, but actually born in America, even though he has a Hawaii birth certificate. 9/'11 was an inside job, the Russian investigation is a hoax even though every single U.S. national security and intelligence agency believes that Russia interfered into our elections in 2016. Including every single national security and intelligence official that President Trump appointed himself.

In other words, the Trump movement or Tea Party Nationalists, (as I prefer to call them) or how about the Trumpian Cult or the Cult of Trump, can't believe or won't acknowledge (at leas in public) facts that are right front of their own eyes or ears, if it is negative about Donald Trump. And this is the man that Jeff Lord who once worked in the Reagan White House as a speechwriter and pre-2016 or so had a great reputation as an intelligent, honest, very friendly man and part of the Center-Right in the Republican Party, now represents and speaks for. Who worked for CNN as a political analyst even though several CNN anchors had a hard time with him because they weren't sure if Lord actually believed what he was saying with some of his defenses for Donald Trump.

Jeff Lord has gone from being a Bill Buckley or Bill Kristol of right-wing political analysts. Someone who is respected on both sides and by most people in the country who follow politics and current affairs, because they're honest, intelligent, make their arguments based on this old fashion word called facts. And don't defend people just because they're on their side of the isle, to being an Alex Jones/Pat Robertson type conspiracy theorist. Who blame 9/11 on homosexuality, or blame lesbianism for feminism. "Russia didn't interfere into our elections! It was China because they wanted radical feminist Hillary Clinton to be President. Or it was an inside job inside the Democratic Party."

And my only question is for what. Why would an intelligent man risk his reputation as a serious political analyst to do that. He doesn't even work for Donald Trump officially and has been part of the Trump Organization in any capacity.

Here's an example of a right-winger in this case Jeffrey Lord (former political analyst at CNN) who doesn't want his side to and have to take any responsibility for anything negative that most Americans would view as not just negative but horrible. Which in this case would be racist bigotry and racist terrorism like the Ku Klux Klan and the broader Alt-Right. So what they'll do is to make it seem that these radicals are actually Democrats or even worst in their view, Liberals. Even if you you just took Liberalism 101 you would know that racial intolerance is not a liberal value, but racial intolerance is actually illiberal. Racial tolerance and racial blindness as far as how we judge people are liberal values. And anyone who is a true Conservative, Libertarian, Democratic Socialist, also believes in racial tolerance and racial blindness.

The Ku Klux Klan that was made up of Dixiecrat Democrats. The KKK had members of Congress including senators as well. There were also Dixiecrats in Congress who weren't affiliated with the KK K officially, but were ideologically in sync with the KKK, short of physically using violence against racial, ethnic, and religious minorities. And believed that African-Americans and other non-European-Americans weren't entitled to the same rights in America as Caucasians. But didn't believe in using terrorism to stamp out the civil rights movement.

Just because you're registered as a Democrat doesn't make you liberal, progressive, or left. Just because you're registered as a Republican, doesn't mean you're conservative, libertarian, or right. It just means you're registered with that party. Before the late 1970s or so you had right-wing Democrats (Dixiecrats) who represented perhaps as much 1/3 or more of the Democratic Party. Who I would argue at least weren't Center-Right Conservatives, but Far-Right Neo-Confederate Nationalists, who represent the Far-Right of the Republican Party today.

Senator Strom Thurmond who was a U.S. Senator from 1955-2003, one of the longest serving members of Congress in American history, was a Democrat up until the civil rights movement of the 1960s and switched to the Democratic Party in 1964. His politics and ideology didn't switch, just his political party. He was a Dixiecrat until he left the Democratic Party and then I guess you could call him a Dixie Republican when he became part of the GOP. But he was always a Neo-Confederate Nationalist who moderated his views on racial issues, but never supported the civil rights laws and was always a right-winger and even on the Far-Right in American politics.

Senator Jim Eastland, was also a Dixiecrat in his time in Congress in the 1950s, 60s, ands 70s and there were many many Dixiecrat Neo-Confederate Nationalist right-wing Democrats in the Democratic Party during this period, who now represent the Far-Right of the Republican Party today. As they would say, 'they didn't leave the Democratic Party, but the Democratic Party left them."

As far as ANTIFA. They are obviously a radical leftist socialist and perhaps even communist movement in America with no right-wing or Republican leanings. But they don't seem to be associated with the Democratic Party either. Perhaps in some cases with the Far-Left of the party ideologically. But they are even to the left of Bernie Sanders who represents the modern Martin Luther King People's Party movement which is a peace loving movement that believes in economic equality through democratic socialist means.

ANTIFA- think by any means necessary to accomplish their objectives which includes violence and even terrorism targeted at Far-Right groups and individuals. Which they say they want to eliminate fascism. But where I could agree with Jeff Lord here is that they want to eliminate right-wing fascism like the KKK and broader Alt-Right. But would keep their form of fascism in place. Which is anyone on the right-wing or anyone who disagrees with them in general, doesn't have a right to speak in their view. Which is a classic form of fascism which is to eliminate opposing views and speech. Even if that means using violence and terrorism to accomplish those objectives. They're also anti-capitalist and would like to eliminate capitalism and perhaps even property rights. But right now they seem to be interested and eliminating the Far-Right in America. Again by any means necessary.

The American Spectator: Jeffrey Lord: 11 Principles of a Reagan Conservative

1964 is a big year  in 2014, for several reasons.  There are a few huge fifty-year anniversaries coming up, the 1964 Civil Rights Act, Barry Goldwater winning the Republican nomination for president and Ronald Reagan coming on the national political scene. The third one is the main point of this post because Ron Reagan is far and away the most popular Republican President in modern American history.

This is why Republicans are always quoting Reagan or calling themselves "Reagan Conservatives" whether they are or not. There are Republicans who call themselves "Reagan Conservatives" and then there are actual Reagan Conservatives or Goldwater Republicans who actually practice what they claim to be their political philosophy.  They are for limited government and individual freedom, not big government intrusion into our personal lives.

John McCain, Jeff Flake, Rand Paul, and Mike Lee are all current U.S. Senators who are Reagan Conservatives because they stand by the key Reagan principles of limited government, individual freedom, peace through strength, and individual rights.  Then, there are Republicans who falsely claim to be Reagan Conservatives in order to get elected such as Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum, and Governor Rick Scott of Florida.  They claim to be against big government except when they want Big Brother in our homes and bedrooms.  They associate themselves with Reagan to gain political power.  It is up to voters to validate their claims.
